Thinking of buying the Dobinsons 2-3 IMS for my ‘23 Platinum hybrid. I see it says for 2.5” or more they recommend the diff drop or the longer TRD axles. Which is the preferred option here from those who have done this?

Also, in addition to those items, do I need anything else? Control arms? Mine is a pavement princess and I want it done right but also not trying to have a 5k lift.

Replacement axles is the best way to go, as they offer more articulation and you're not losing belly pan clearance by the diff drop kit at that point.

New UCA's should be run over 2" of lift for the best possible alignment and also articulation. Depending what lift height you go for in the rear, more parts are needed at 2"+. We have it broken down with an explanation on each possible add-on.

Very helpful. Thank you. So if I have a hybrid I need to select the coils that list 110-220 pounds loaded already to make up for my battery weight? I’d like to go 3 front and 2 rear and I have no aftermarket bumpers.
