After installing a new leaf pack and 1" carrier bearing drop kit, should I still get a pair of the angle shims for the rear? I have just under 5" of lift with a Icon leafpacks and shackles. My dumb ass threw this question up on a truck forum on FB. Ugh, I'll never learn....

It measures 1.25", Some trucks are a bit more finicky but have had excellent luck with this size up to 5" of Rear lift. The hardware is also a touch long and will allow additional tuning if needed.

Just a little, could be the lugs on the new tires. only from 10-15mph, not at take off, not at cruising

I didn't feel anything until I did the lift and tires. Any speed, it was always smooth. now it only that small window. idk, I'll have to crawl under and give everything a second look. Thanks.

They are smooth after that range. they are lobing, or shaking... Just slight vibration, like you would feel at take off without a carrier drop.

Ever figure this out? My angles checked out fine after I measured them on a 2” rear and 2.25” front lift. I’m still getting a SLIGHT vibration at around 10-15 mph at hard acceleration from a dead stop. I have the coach builder 3/4” CBD kit but it’s still there. I’m wondering how much vibration is okay until I should become concerned.

    Alot of them
You could add washers to the carrier bearing drop and see if it gets better. If you decide on the axle shims, you will need to replace the ubolts as well.

I may have to just play with it until I get it right. Thanks!

I needed a more aggressive carrier bearing drop... I went with 1.5 and no more vibration

Was yours vibrating at low speeds or highway speeds?

Mine was vibrating at low speed acceleration so I added a drop which fixed that but now experiencing vibration at highway speeds. CB has a little play but does not seem to be worn out. Though it was the tires not balancing so I got new tires and wheels and still feeling it from 60-70mph.
