Welcome and thanks for your service. I was in the same boat as you, I was initially looking at a 2016-2021, then a 2018-2021, and then realized that the 2020 or 21 is the way to go. You get all the carplay, LED lights and such. The tranny cooler was not a big deal for me, if the wife decided that we need a trailer to haul around, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Good hunting, the Toyota tax is crazy and with the issues they've had with the new model of Tundras, well equipped 2nd gens have gone thru the roof. I just had the dealer call me twice and offer me more than I paid for it, no thanks.

I have watched that more times than I can count. When in the Marines, bad things happen. I was known for saying “Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms.” The guys thought I was an animal. :). I was a realist and a pacifist. As long as others didn’t try to bring the hate to me. If they did? Buzzard and worm food. Enjoy…. :)

Appreciate you brother. Ty for the kind words. Other guys deserve the praise more than I. I was a lucky one. 8 years and becoming a Dad made me check out. The Marines are a young man’s job and after 8 years and a son in tow? Time to be a hubby and a daddy. Funny though, there is always a part of me, and I’m sure other vets, that wish we did more. For our brothers. The guys we left…. But, I’ll leave it at that. This isn’t a therepy session. :). Trails? Mud? Getting out in the sticks? Maintaining your rig? THAT’s Therepy. :). Anyway, ty for your kind words sir.

I too was in the marine corps infantry, said the same thing in the Stan haha.

I grew up watching that movie over and over as a kid. In fact, I got laughed at once in elementary school when the teacher asked everyone their favorite cartoon and I didn’t know what to say so I answered, Clint Eastwood? Haha

lots of formers up in here... I left after my first tour because even if I fapped out, infantry would still be there waiting for my return. I wasn't planning on being a lifer so it didn't make sense to reenlist because all they were offering me was a 6 yr contract. 2 as a specialty school then back in the shit for the remaining 4. F that, I left and found the therapy you speak of.

0811..? You boys were the backbone of the Corps. I was a radio potato for heavy artillery. I eventually a Battalion Com Chief. Funny, we both like Clint…. :)

I misspoke! “0811?” I meant 0311. But I see you at 0341. :). We lobbed Bombs on their Moms…. Made things disappear. :). Maybe Marine Magicians?

Y'all always got to fire the most fun things. I was just a saw gunner and eventually a scout sniper...
I find the only fishing I do is for beer out of my cooler. Seems like I catch one every time I put my hand in there. :anonymous:

wow! You have a Magic Cooler? Do the beer breed? Just put your hand in you caught a beer? Impressive.

I have a magic laundry basket too. It’s amazing! I toss my dirty clothes in there and…??? Boom! They are washed and hung!!! My wife thinks I’m lying! Everyone I try and tell her it’s magic, she storms off!

Magically catch one every time. But I do have to refill it from time to time. Unfortunately my magic laundry basket only works every other week...
