Any idea what these un-connected connectors are for? Just installed the joying head unit in my 2010 tundra and most things seems to work but I haven’t put everything back together and driven it yet. Also trying to add front camera to the unit and not sure where to tie in for power for camera on the unit. Can I just splice it to a wire going to the unit or should I just use a fuse tap adapter. Sorry kind of clueless on electrical stuff. Thanks

For the camera, I’d recommend tapping into a power source that’s ignition power. Something in the fuse box under the hood. I’ve been chasing a parasitic draw and it was my front bumper camera that I had wired directly to 12V power. Changed it to the same tap I did for my DRL headlights and it’s working great.

I forget which ones mine had left but there was a couple. Everything seem to be working? The front cameras usually plug into the USB on headunit for power and to the yellow rca on headunit for video input. Very straightforward.

Does the Joying have a yellow input jack for a front camera? My Dasaita has one input for rear camera and another for the front.

I purchased this camera and if I recall, the instructions had information on where to plug into the fuse box in the engine bay using a fuse tap like this.

I believe the joying had two yellow inputs but I can't recall for sure. This is the one I bought.

Now that I think about it, it was just a single usb connection. Super simple. Screenshot_20240820_134328_Amazon Shopping.jpg
I guess yours is meant to mount to the front end whereas mine mounts to the windshield so that's why it's different.
