Someone did this while my truck was parked and took off. Hate it when people do stuff like this.

You try to keep your stuff nice and people do this kind of shit. :rain: All you can do is park out in the boonies and enjoy the fresh air as you take the extra steps, I guess.

I have a similar amount of damage in rear quarter from previous owner jackknifing a trailer. Wondering if it's better to seal the paint stratches & leave the dent or get the body work done... I find on the east coast body work only lasts a couple years & moisture & salt air causes the paint to bubble around the area that had work done. Good luck with yours 17234624195155781285837302991300.jpg

Looks worse than it really is. PDR yourself or pay to a pro. Shouldn't cost much.

Yeah, found a local PDR shop with great reviews, so I'm planning to take it there. I have some glue pullers but I think this one requires more tools and banging on it from the inside. Right now we have another baby on the way in the next couple of weeks, so when I'm off work for that I plan to address the dent.

I think I see a few cracks in the paint. PDR will pull the dent but if the paint is cracked, it's compromised and will cause issues down the road.

I hate ding dongs that do this kinda thing. Its just aggravating. It's not life threatening or really life changing, but still aggravating that folks won't even leave a note, own it, and apologize.

Yeah, I think there will be some paint work needed. But I have a guy who will do a quality job on that part, I just want to have the dents out before getting the paint work done so that all I need him to do is paint.
