I have a 2016 Tundra Limited 5.7 4wd I bought 6 months ago. Just changed the oil for the 2nd time this morning & I'm wondering if it would be OK to leave the skid plate off or would I be asking for trouble? I don't drive off road & seldom on gravel roads. The truck has 185,000 miles & I've noticed when removing/reinstalling the threads that the skid plate mounting screws are getting worn & actually 2 holes are stripped so the bolts won't tighten. Has anyone else removed the skid plate & if you have did you have any problems because it wasn't on the truck anymore. Thanks in advance
