Are most owners getting the fuel line recall done even though that Toyota hasn’t come out with a permanent fix? It’s hard understand how a permanent fix can take this long. It’s been one year since the recall came out. Hard for me to believe that a simple redesign of the fuel line takes this long. If the permanent fix is not out does that mean that all new tundras are still being manufactured with the old fuel line design. That is hard to believe and I wonder if the temporary fix is not the permanent one. I am scheduled to get my temporary fix this coming Monday but I have heard of some horror stories of dealer mechanics incompetence in doing the job

Agreed. Had my temp fix done a long time ago. This is from Aug 9 2023 over a year ago as you mention. For something that has risk of fire, it’s insane it’s not ready. I don’t think the temp (interim) fix is legally allowed to roll into the permanent “remedy”. Wondering how many more months it will take. I can imagine they are in crisis mode re the engine replacements…

AFAIK this has been fixed on 24+ model years.

My 6 23 build wasn't included in recall so I assume you are correct.
