Yes. This is exactly how I installed my bumper shims before I replaced the whole bumper. Makes it way easier than dropping the whole bumper.

General Grabber A/TX in this size, no rubbing. Bilstein 5100 in the middle setting in front, which is +1.5", but semi-hidden bumper + winch + skid plates run it at stock height. Wasn't rubbing without a bumper and hitch, though. No rubbing in rear, stock height or +1".

Yeah man dial in that alignment when you can. Rear cam tabs go out, front go in. Adjust all of the front cams then.

People always ignore the reality that the tire size isn’t the biggest factor, it’s the offset of the aftermarket wheels that get most people.

I run cheater 35s (295s), no lift on stock wheels and I off-road with zero issues.

This. I'm running 275/70R18 on stockers with only 1.9" and have plenty of clearance. I will add my alignment guy actually knows how to align these trucks with a lift.

From the image in your avatar it would appear that you have some lift. The “Icon 2.5” typically is nomenclature referring to the diameter of the shock body itself rather than the lift height.
Not saying you *aren’t* running a 2.5” lift up front, but it’s just mind boggling that things were so tight with your wheel and tire setup. It’s not like you had a 12” wide wheel with -44 offset.

The rims is +18, from I read online this is a pretty safe offset.

Now that you mentioned it. I have no idea what my front lift is hahaha. I tried looking it up on IIcon and it doesn't say the exact lift. All I know is that the truck is leveled.

“Pretty safe”, but not as safe as factory wheels. Was just pointing out that many want large tires, but also want aftermarket wheels with a little poke and that is what often then limits the tire size or clearance needed.

Every truck is different, but removing the little front flap and redrilling the front hole to shove the fender liner forward, and removing the mud flap, will get you the clearance you need.

If it’s leveled then it’s at or around 2”. Definitely enough for 33” tires on 18x9” wheels with a +18 offset (after removing the front spat).
I’d definitely get a 2nd opinion on your alignment.

a little heat gun work could be necessary with your setup but it sounds like you really had to get after it.

I'll be pairing wildpeak at4w with 285/75/18, stock OR rims on 6112/5160 @ 1.9 lift in front. I have seen that be successful a few times on here. Waiting for my current rubber to wear out.
