On my front passanger door ( of all places), there is a loud click when I open the door when ever the jam mounted stop arm passes over one of the detents. 3 in all. I sprayed in a bit of lithium grease but it just sounds worse. Any solution or am I replacing the whole stopper assembly.

    Thanks

I have seen the 10mm nuts come loose and the door makes a sound similar to what you're describing. If memory serves, the nuts are on the body side of the door restraint. Check those first.

    Some.
Don't forget to clean and lube the hinges themselves. I have to clean and lube mine every couple of weeks due to dust. Even my door handles stick because of it.

If the 10mm bolts aren’t loose, your door check is likely cracked.

Boy looking at the install video I sure miss my T-100 w/manual windows, locks, no mirror controls.

My new to me 2012 has the same issue...keep that on the to do "later" list

this happened to my 06 4runner, 07 tundra, and 22 corolla cross. it's most likely the door check bolts coming loose. tighten those 10mms (if you can find the socket) and you're golden
