Hybrid backseat battery access cover issue

I noticed that the cover for the hybrid battery was popped up. I never seen it like that before. I went to the dealership so they can check it out as well and I was told that they were design like that, but they seem broken to me. Does anyone have that same problem?

 

Mine don't . Those 2 broken tabs on yours are where you pry it open so some dipshit probably Rambo'd it open or close

I had exactly the same problem. Looked and saw that the cover was curled up on the side near the door. Popped it off and saw that the clips were broken. Seems plausible that heat from inside the compartment caused it to curl enough to pop the clips off.
