Great Way to Haul Kayaks and whatever else, on the cheap..

I bought a couple Kayaks and own a travel trailer, I was trying to come up with a good way to bring these along when we go camping. I also have a roll-n-lock so I had to find something that will work with that (I don't care if I can't shut it on these trips). I really didn't want them taking up all my bed room and I can't leave my tailgate open when pulling the trailer.

I called roll-n-lock and they wanted around $1200 to get it done. I would have had to change my rails and buy their intergraded system. I checked with several other avenues and everything was over 1000 and or I would have to get rid of the roll-n-lock. I didn't want to haul them over the top of the cab and that system was over 750 as well.

Along comes Harbor Freight. I purchased this universal rack system for $275 and spent another 50 bucks on Kayak racks from Amazon. It works with my roll-n-lock and takes about 5 minutes to put them on/off the truck, 8 C-clamps basically. It is very sturdy and I can see myself hauling more than Kayaks if needed. I am more than pleased with this setup on the cheap....
