Hi all, new member here, first post. I have a '16 Tacoma which I bought new, great truck. I have been looking at used Tundras to also have a full size truck. I am thinking of purchasing a '21 Crew Cab local to me. The only thing I don't like about the truck are the factory side bins in the bed, never seen them before. I want to have the full bed size available. So my question is, are these side bins easily removable? Did the factory weld them in? If removable, does it expose a full size normal bed with no brackets sticking out etc? It looks like this truck has a spray in bedliner. Did the factory spray in the bedliner first then affix the side bins or did they mask around the bins?
I tried to post a picture of the bed in question but I can't get my pic to upload for some reason, sorry.
    Thanks

    Welcome from NY.

Yes they are removable, takes about 5 minutes. You will have full access to the bed with no obstructions. They attach to a bed rail system which is mounted on all 3 sides of the bed, not the tailgate. The system doesn't take up any room in the bed. They have bed rail cleats that attach to the system that you can use as tie down points which are fully adjustable.

    Hi Jim,
That's good news. I'll have a closer look at the truck. Thanks for the response.
