Seems to be a common tale.

    How's the 2nd gen?
Do you ever miss the 1st gen?

I put an aftermarket stereo and speakers in lol. The second gen is a certified beater so it just gets used for hauling dirt bikes and the camper. I’ll get another rig to build some day, but for now dirt bikes are the money pit.

I miss the places the first gen could get me, but honestly the Tundra didn’t hold a candle to my first gen Tacoma. I was always chasing the idea of my Tacoma with a v8 when building out the 1g Tundra, but the reality is it’s still just big enough to make some trails and obstacles impractical. At least for what I was pursuing offroad at that time.

The 2nd gen can carry our entire family. Trade off of having kids. It serves its purpose well. Will probably get a 3/4 ton for my next truck once we get into a toy hauler.

    Well yes.

When I went from the Jeep world to the Toyota world, I pretty quickly stopped 4-wheeling to that degree.

    Change of life I guess!

We got a 2nd gen Sequoia as a kid hauler.
