It's fluid. If I stay 30 minutes late working on a problem, how would they know? We enter our time, supervisors approve, accounting cuts the check.

 

Sounds like you stayed 3 hours late to fix the issue, and your supervisor should have your back 100%

 

I’m about to bounce from my job from the lack of this backup.

 

I get paid what I work. I am kinda worried about longterm security though. Thinking about doing classes for medical coding and billing. WFH and similar pay. I hate learning new jobs, though.

Will you get paid for those 3 shifts?

If your scheduled shifts don't match your time sheet, that should raise a flag with your supervisor before it even hits accounting

Up front when you hire on, you are responsible for putting your time in. You forget, then you get paperwork to fix it and they pay on your next check.

My supervisors trust us and don't fine tooth our time sheets.

I'm w/you on this one... I get some OT or an early out isn't something they should be able to foresee. However, if a full time employee is missing 3/4 of a work week and didn't have any vaca or sick on schedule, you'd think someone would have his back on this.

On one side of the fence you say your supervisors don't use oversight on your time sheets cuz they trust you, but just a few days ago you spoke about having cameras watching you at work cuz they don't trust their employees

 

My direct supervisors oppose the cameras. That's from the higher ups above them.

 

Between the rear tire and that one there still isn't enough. Good thing he made sure to have all that poke, though. Way more important than tread on the tires...
