I don't see the Carplay option on the oem head unit. Is there a hidden pathway to Carplay that I'm missing? I was under the impression that all the trucks from 2019 on came with Carplay.

It's not wireless so make sure you're plugged into one of the USB ports. IIRC, the first time you connect, you have to unlock the phone and accept the access. Then when you click the home button on the head unit, you'll see it show up.

I thought Carplay was not introduced to the Tundra until 2021? I know for sure my 2019 does not have it.

To briefly add, you have to be plugged into the USB slot that does data/is connected to the head in back. The other 2 usb slots are just for charging.
