90lbs is good, but about 75lbs is perfect...

Climbing up tiny attic ladders that were made for someone <200lbs w/a 90lb dog slung over your shoulder while wearing a full kit isn't super ideal.

Plus the larger they are the more prone they are to injuries and ailments...

Ranger was about 65lbs, and he never lost a fight...
    upload_2024-8-5_20-48-18.jpg

Rudy dog was mid 70s in his prime, and my first dog Astor was upper 70s low 80s... If I had my choice, I'd prefer a 70lb dog any day

He's a good size though, and looks heavier than 61 (in the photos I"ve seen)... Plus, he's in good shape, so it's lean weight :benchpress:

Good news is it is a 2020 and that is when the supply chain issue started so these parts were pre 2020. Look at everything, look everywhere and try to find areas that were modified. Not familiar with the make/model but just know the horror stories when we were looking to buy. We backed out because everything was either new and made shitty or used and everyone wanted your first and last born to purchase. Hope he has good luck!

Reminds me of when the cops beat my ass using a phone book. They held the book over me and was wailing with the night sticks.

I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with my firearms. I have a huge Fort Knox Defender gun safe but will be selling it or most likely trading with Fort Knox for just a door. The safe needs to be gone in about 6 weeks but the new build will not be done until early spring next year. No way do I want to put that in a storage room and a lot to keep around when renting a house.

It’s been more problematic than not last few weeks so instead of doing another band-aid, knowing I’ll mess it up again, let’s just get this over with. Should hear from his scheduler in the next couple of days

Whew buddy, you ain’t wrong. I have withheld making a few large purchases this year (house, camper, Tesla, etc). Just didn’t seem like the time.

The market is going on sale as we speak. My position is that of Mr. Buffett’s, although with a slightly smaller pile of cash.

I've never had shoulder surgery, but my buddy has.

    the rehab hurts worse.

but rehab participation is the true measure of a successful shoulder surgery.

my buddy rehab'd to ~100% by doing EVERYTHING the Dr. said.

Yeah, I have an issue with pushing limits on everything I do, especially with recovery and weights. I am hopeful I will listen this time (like I have been for my knee over the last couple of months) so I can be back at it 100% (or as close to, anyway)

Same is true for knees. My grandma had knee surgery recently. She is the most pain-averse person I have ever met. She did absolutely 0% of the rehab movements and stretches her therapist told her to do because they hurt, and she regained almost 0% movement in that joint.

FWIW - I've been doing a lot of banded exercises for shoulder health 2x a week over the last two months. It was helpful, but now I am at a point that its not.
