My wife and I are looking at some type of PWC or Seadoo for some fun on the lake. We already have access to a pontoon and center console. I'm seeing that Seadoo has a few hull types, a couple in fiberglass and some in a new polymer type called "Polytech". I've mainly been looking at the Seadoo GTX with an ST3 hull as I think it would suit our needs best.
    • Any thoughts on either of these, good or negative experiences?
    • Is the Polytech hull material type something to avoid? Our lake can get kind of rough and I'd also like to take this to the bay on occassion.
    • How reliable are the Rotax engines?
I also looked at some of Kawaski's offerings, but I really don't know anything about them, other than the fact that Kawasaki has a good reputation for small engines. Any experiences with that would be welcome.
