Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
Add 500 pounds to the payload sticker? Oh wait, that's not enough. Make that 750.

Still doesn't change the payload because it's not about it looking level. It's about the vehicles ability to safely handle the load. Emergency maneuvers and emergency braking, plus structural integrity of the vehicle components.

I'm sure it'll be "fine" right up until it isn't. Whether that'll be in 1,000 miles or 20,000 miles, who knows. Best case scenario you're going to see premature wear on various components. Worst case it'll be a catastrophic failure. Hopefully no one gets hurt.

The trucks rated to pull around 10,000 lbs and haul around 1800lbs so I've got the feeling they've beefed the brakes up a little. And hopefully the drive train has been beefed up as well. This is child's play compared to what we used to do back in the day, but then we rode without seat belts back then to. We were crazy. I hope to be able to put 20,000 miles with the camper on this truck I plan to put 400,000 miles on. Almost 300,000 on my last tundra. It was still a great truck when I sold it and got this one. I'll post in a week or two and let you know how it's going.

Look at your door jamb. It's not rated for 1800, and tow rating is irrelevant to this.

Show me where on the sticker inside your driver's door it says this.
