    Hi,
I just bought a 2005 sequoia with 190k. Suspect blown head gasket, but block test was negative. It’s blowing white smoke, piston heads are dirty and not power washed clean from coolant. Did compression test and all cylinders are between 150-170. Exhaust doesn’t smell like gasoline. Wondering if it could be pcv? Not sure if timing belt was ever changed, so might as well dig into it and change head gasket? Any ideas?thank you, Jake

Not cheap, but Dorman part is so incredibly similar to the Toyota one, that I wouldn't be surprised if they make it. I bought a spare Dorman one during one of RockAuto's closeouts for around $30, just to have on-hand. When compared to my factory one, I cannot visually see a difference.

We have a thread about this topic over in the 1st Gen Tundras forum. Same generation, same platform, same issue. And on several occasions, if it only happens at startup usually, for a few minutes, it ended up being the PS air control valve.
