I recently purchased a 2019 Tundra Limited Crewcab. I noticed the passenger seat sits much higher than the drivers seat. My passenger seat is power but it looks like it does not have the ability to adjust up or down. Is there a way I can make a mechanical adjustment to lower the seat?

My driver seat is power and it does adjust upward, downward, front and back. It’s hard to say what’s wrong with your driver’s seat, if anything, without actual photos of your complaint.

It's the passenger seat he wants to lower. There's no power adjustment for height. My passengers complain about the height sometimes. I don't know of any way to lower it.

Oh, ok. I see. I was thinking that he could adjust the driver’s seat to make it higher than the passenger seat. I thought that he wanted his driver’s seat to be higher than the passenger seat.

I was thinking it couldn't be done when I saw all of the electronics under the passenger seat but I had to ask. Thanks All.

There has to be a way to do this. I have the 1794 edition. I love the tundras but they are missing so many easy perks that should come standard. Everyone that rides in the passenger seat hates the pickup because it rides to high.

Yes, I'm also interested in lowering the passenger seat. My girlfriends feet can't touch the floor and my taller friends can't see out of the window without kinking their neck.

The factory seating position in the 07-21 Tundras is bad. The 2nd gens are even worse than the 2.5-gen. I'm a lanky 6'3" and was uncomfortable test driving a mint 2011 crew cab. How on earth can you fumble this much cab space?!

Anyway, I think part of the reason the passenger front seat is so high is because of the amp underneath. The entire passenger seat is lifted off the cab floor a few inches by its mounting brackets. I'd like to remove the 2+ inch tall bracket mounting the rear of the seat rail and make it flush with the cab floor. I haven't seen anyone that makes such a bracket so I might fab my own up. That'd lower the rear end which would make the seat angle more comfortable. May do something similar in the front.
