    this exactly.

We're on HWY 9 where the speed limit is 55. I had just finished talking about how looking ahead and keeping with the flow of traffic is your goal. Watching all of the cars in front of you, looking for slowing signs, brake lights, distance between cars decreasing, etc. Looking way ahead as you can see traffic lights to adjust your speed accordingly. We then see a light ahead turn red. She's still hammering the gas. I ask, did you see that the light is red? She's says yes as she still moving along steadily and all the other cars are braking. I calmly say, now would be a good time to take your foot off the gas and start braking. We stopped just in time with way more aggressive braking then I ever would. It's a work in progress and they need the miles to become better. And yes those first few days are spirited to say the least.

That’s the vibe I got from my daughter too…

When I brought the truck home she got exited… and she wasn’t happy when I told her the first lessons will be in the Corolla.

I'm 4.5 years away from having a learner's permit in the house.
They already have the 4wheelers mastered when it comes to shifting, throttle and braking so hopefully that translates to vehicles..

Whatever this forum told me to do
these days the insurance add on <25yr olds is obscene.

Ugh. I'll have to check and see if we can insure them on just one car, @T-Rex266 can't iirc

States define the laws. As @T-Rex266 said in co they have to be insured on Every vehicle in the household.

The insurance companies and the state politicians couldn't possibly be in cahoots..

Poll added. In order for this to work, I would need to figure out a couple of things:
    1) Would the big boss, Bob allow for it?
    2) If so, great. Many of us are pressed for time. Who would volunteer to help put it together with fresh content each month with engaging content?
    3) This would be un-paid, non-mod position. I'm sure I can have a custom badge added to your name or something, FWIW.

Mine doubled and hasn’t dropped. Girls are apparently cheaper but I am still expecting a big hit in 14 months when she gets her own license.

I have been wanting to ask that question.

I said this about 12 months ago, but I am going to search around for a new agent before my next renewal… just need to be in one place for more than a week

we went to a “bbq” joint in OB………… if I ran a spot there, they would be out of business. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. They had tender down, but no bark, no smoke ring. I assume it was all liquid smoke and in an oven. Decent BBQ burps afterwards so that was a plus
