    Hi All,

Prospective buyer looking to see if anyone might be able to help. Looking at a TRD Pro that has had a new bumper put on it, not a fan of how huge it is and was wondering if anyone knew the brand? I would like to go look at the instructions and see how much of the original bumper/body was hacked up to install this thing. Wonderi ng how much effort it would take to reverse back to stock or at least a slimmer bumper.

Nice, you found actual pictures of it before I did lol, that was the one the salesman sent me.

Looks like the front had to be hacked up for it to be installed. Wonder how much $ it would take to get it back to stock.

Fwiw, those are some of the best engineered bumpers made. They’re crash tested and ensured to work with the safety airbags and in the event of an animal strike, to send the animal under the vehicle. Additionally they use stock tow points.

Really nice bumper. $2k+. I’m just a big fan lol.

I’m getting ready to buy that exact bumper. Finalizing the details now on what I need to do to run it on my 21 Pro. I would not buy a truck planning to convert it back. It’s either you love the bumper and the price is right or get another truck. I get that they are not for everyone, but if you need it or want it, they are worth it. They are heavy. That’s what I’m researching now. What do I need to do to my planned lift if I want to run this bumper. I might need to do different coils for the weight.

It's likely going to cost as much or more than the bumper was to install. It requires cutting/trimming to install, so you would be replacing several panels, the bumper, fog lights, and possibly even the grille. If you can live with it, don't tell the salesman. Tell him you hate the bumper and want the price reduced. Then, take that deal and live with the bumper. If you can't live with the bumper, fight even harder to get the price down because you're likely a few thousand dollars in parts to get back to stock if you shop new parts.
