While perusing wheel options, I came across the ever so popular and extremely rare Land Cruiser Heritage Edition bronze wheels. I know they cost and arm and a leg, and a handful of people have tried purchasing them to no avail due to VIN restrictions. While browsing Ebay last night, I came across a listing that's incorrectly spelled and doesn't appear to have many views. The seller has no previous listings, and hence no reviews etc. Judging from the picture, they appear to be genuine and have the BBS Forged and TRD engraved opposite. I know they are the same as the 2020-2021 Tundra TRD Pro wheels just bronze versus black. That said, they're listed for ~$1800 which is well below other listings I've seen for them. I'm not looking to buy them, but if somebody on the east coast has been thinking of getting a set, might be worth a shot to see about purchasing and doing local pickup. Looks like seller is located in "Kennett Square, PA". Seller also has shipping option listed for $80 and with Ebay protection, maybe worth a gamble on the possible headache of a scammer lol.

Enough rambling, link to the posting: https://www.ebay.com/itm/375506669395

    $1800 from a 1st time poster....Pass.

You could take a chance with PayPal, but they may side with the seller if something goes wrong.

My thoughts too, but if someone on the East Coast wanted to attempt local pickup might be worth a shot. I searched on FB marketplace but couldn't find them, but I did see another listing that has the same Dunlop AT 23 tires on them further leading me to believe they're real. I did a reverse google image search of the one picture for them with no results. Like most things too good to be true, it probably is, but heck maybe an east coast forum member will get super lucky on a sweet set of wheels.

I saw that posting, looks like they're sold, also didn't include tires for what it's worth.

Wants nearly $2k and he can’t take a picture of each individual wheel or provide info on miles / tread depth? No thanks.

Listing lacks accurate information and doesn't state much, they spell Land Cruiser wrong. Shipping 4 wheels with tires for under 100. This screams fake, it might not be but they are throwing enough red flags for most to pass without even giving it another thought.

The incorrect spelling of Land Cruiser, the lack of pictures, info, new seller, etc. makes me think 99% chance it's a fake listing. There's a miniscule chance it's a real listing by someone who's first language isn't English, but even that's a stretch to not spell Land Cruiser correctly. I'm well aware of Ebay/USPS shipping scams with fraudulent tracking numbers for a smaller package going to a different address etc. The only way I'd buy them would be via local pickup as the seller has that listed as an option. Again, most likely still a scam, but going in person might net someone a sweet underpriced set of wheels.
