    Hi Guys,
I bought my 2019 Tundra brand new. I’m still on the original pads and rotors. The truck has 45000km now. Recently I noticed there’s a vibration coming from the brake padel when I brake hard on the highway from 120km/h.

So I toke off the front wheels today, and checked the pads and rotors. Any comments? Thanks.IMG_1847.jpgIMG_1848.jpg IMG_1846.jpg

I'm astonished at how much corrosion I'm seeing. Is that brake fluid leaking on the back side of the caliper? I'd say at the least you're in for a full brake rebuild. Pads don't look too terribly low.

Nothing is leaking. This is considered ‘normal’ for a rust-belt vehicle.

    None....
Is your steering wheel shaking too? If it's only the brake pedal shaking you need to do the back brakes also

The pads are still have some life in them, but your problem is rotors, you need new ones or turn the old ones, depends what is more available for you.
Obviously after replacing/resurfacing the rotors you will need new pads.
All my toyotas had same issues with the original rotors until i bought on EBay Chinese ones. Not a single problem on any of them since. My 4runner has already 130K miles on those rotors and 2 sets of pads. My wife Lexus about 60K miles and my daughter's Camry over 120K miles on the second set of pads.
Now as soon as vibration starts on a new vehicle i go on ebay and buy a set of new rotors with new pads. then approximately at every 60K miles i just change pads.
I dont change my toyotas often, they keep running

Meaning most likely your problem in the front rotors. See post above.

Do you have the seller info for the ebay rotors?

I also have a 2019 Tundra but with 58000 miles and just replaced the rotors and pads myself. I bought the pads and rotors from Buybrakes.com. They were very easy to deal with and items came earlier than expected. I went with EBC brand and so far am very happy. Rotors and pads are either made in USA or UK. This is what I ended up paying. Part numbers are included if you chose to go with EBC.

I have 80K on my rustbelt nearly 5 year old Tundra and my rotors don't look close to that corrosion. But as long as they work!

The pads aren't horrible but they could use a replacement. You're definitely looking at replacing rotors too. Might as well do all four corners while you're at it.

With the pads not evenly wearing, definitely make sure to clean and relube the pins. Also, these pads fit super snug and since you already have corrosion, definitely make sure you wire wheel or brush all around the caliper where the brake hardware is and pads go so ensure a smooth fitment. I didn't do that to my rears and I had a hard time refitting the new pads and I could feel them catch when letting off the brakes.

Yes, found it. I dont know if they have same manufacturer. Last time i bought for my 4runner in 2018. No problem since then. Two rotors cost me $34 each including shipping

I still can see Meyle Rotors on eBay. Different sellers though.

Also, you can check O'Reilly, they used to resurface rotors for $15-20
