Hello. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I have a 2022 Tundra Platinum and it keeps blowing fuses for the interior “dome” lights. It has been to the dealer twice. First time they had it for four days while I was out of town and couldn’t get the fuse to blow. Second time, they claimed to have found a short in the console that houses the map lights and the interior lights on/off/door switch, sunroof controls, etc. They replaced it and within an hour after picking it up, fuse blew again. Read another thread on here from someone with same problem a while back, who said they replaced a wiring harness in the headliner. Haven’t heard a lot of others with this problem. Very frustrating. If anyone has experienced this issue, I would love to hear the solution so I can educate the service department.

Not sure if I can help but does it always blow/fail when the dome light is turned on? Im wondering if any other components are supplied by the fuse that could be causing it to fail as well.

Im curious what short the dealer found...a blown fuse/short should be very easy to find...as long as it can be duplicated. Can't rule out the dome light itself causing a short and causing the fuse to fail as well

Hello and thanks for replying. So, here is some more detail: I have been unable to pinpoint what makes the fuse blow. It will blow when the truck is running, driving, or parked with the engine off and it will blow with the interior light switch in the “on,” “off,” or “door” position. Usually works fine for my commute to work, then blows while sitting during the day. The only two things I have done that seemed to have made it blow was turning on the passenger side map light once, and just yesterday (after the dealer replaced the console that contains the map lights), I pressed on the headliner near the passenger side sun visor, and the fuse blew. I have not been able to make it blow by doing either of those things, a second time.
