Hey everyone. I need help with how to access the firewall from the cab to the engine for the purpose of direct wiring a power inverter to the battery.

Place it in the bed, route the wire by the frame, put in into plastic loom. I would do it vs cabin due to:

    - risk of fire
    - electric interference (high power switching circuits generates a lot of EM noise)
    - heat dissipation

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I'm not familiar with the '07's, but in later model years there's a rubber nipple down low on the passenger side that can be used to penetrate the firewall. You can also go under the truck and might find a preexisting path through the cab floor.

    Too many, but not enough....
Both bottom corners of the firewall to the cab has a small round grommet with a nipple that you can, very annoyingly, pass wires through.

I used fish tape to punch through.
I also ran wires directly from the battery along the frame and into the bed for power supply. Both have their plus and minus' depending on what you need.
