Sorry to make another leaf spring thread but couldn’t find the info I was looking for using the search feature. Currently looking into getting an expansion pack for my stock leafs to get slightly better ride. Don’t do heavy towing and occasional slight off-roading, just want the ride to be softer when daily driving or when driving on hunting lease. Budget doesnt have the room to get an entire pack so looking at the following options. Will run both without the overload installed. Alcan claims that even without the overload I’ll gain 300lbs of payload with their pack. Both say it makes the springs progressive. Is anyone running the Alcan pack on here? Below are pics of the 2 packs. Thank y’all

Have you considered the ras hd. Super simple to install only cost about 600.00. Really changes the characteristics of the truck especially in the rear.
    Just a thought.

I have but I’m doing this purely for more suspension travel and to ride better. The RAS might help ride but I doubt it’ll help with travel and is around double either of these options. Is an option I’m leaving open though

Thank you. Ended up finding a set of lightly used rxt springs for less than the expansion packs

If those pictures are of the actual product, I would think the Deaver is going to give a more supple ride. The leaves on the Alcan appear shorter overall; a longer leaf will be softer. But that’s just a guess looking at them. I have the Icon expansion pack which appears different still..
