Hello out there. I’m new to the forum yet I’m as old as I’ve ever been. Appreciate the fact there are people still in society that know how to interact in a positive way. Helping each other out through experiences they have had. An awesome concept. I’ve owned my truck since it first came out in 07. It’s a 4x 5.7 with only an air box by K&N and made a noticeable difference. Otherwise I’ve had very few issues since buying it new. Of course I wouldn’t be here crying tears if that were still the case. But things change all the time for all. What I’m having a problem with is my TPMS. I had new tires installed and they haven’t been able to establish the system to allow the dash light to go off. They are as I speak swapping out all four sensors which knowing they are using the same PN for a sensor I don’t expect it will change anything. I’ve read several forum folks making suggestions and the one that I was considering had to do with a system component that’s located in the roof head liner in the rear seating area. Any thoughts from anyone would be great and I’ll wait to see if I can get some direction to go in. Thanks for your consideration. Grant

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! You might want to post your questions/issues with the 2nd Gen forum or the Wheels & Tires forum. There's a whole bunch of knowledge, but they don't all monitor the New Intros forum.

As long as I have someone’s attention I might as well ask another question while I wait on the first. I had a car trailer a-friend of I e asked to be picked up and was adamant it was a 2” ball hitch. It was t and should have known better but when the car was rolled onto the trailer it jumped up and off the hitch stopped only by the chains. When it elevated the tongue of the trailer it clipped the bottom edge of the tail gate and killed the rear camera. However it hit only on the bottom edge and no where near the I purchased a new OEM camera and I installed it to no avail. Just seems to make sense that the camera being in the tail gate that was hit with some force and the backup camera stopped functioning. But such is not the case and still isn’t working. Any thoughts obviously would be appreciated

The wiring for the rear camera comes under the truck and goes into the tailgate near the center, at the bottom. It sounds like the wires got pinched when the tongue popped up.

And don't wait here in this thread for answers. Your question won't be seen by a lot of people. Post the questions in the appropriate forums and you'll get answers quickly.
