2021 LR TRD Pro totaled :(

Hitch got repaired before it was deemed totaled, box is basically fine.

May or may not experience issues from the powertrain getting scrunched down the line, unseen damage type of thing.

 

I hate seeing posts like this one. The thought of some idiot driving into my '21 LR TRD Pro takes away a lot of the pleasure from driving it. What sucks is that as years go by, if you are the unlucky one, it'll be close to impossible to replace it, or it will be so much money that most of us will not be able to afford it.

 

sorry to hear about the accident but glad everyone was ok. I would be so bummed if it happened to mine. Initially bought mine after I sold my tacoma and told myself I'd buy the new TRD Pro. I like my 21 so much more than I thought and now can't think of getting anything else. I test drove the new ones and I still prefer mine.

Depending where you are located, I would say look in more remote areas? prices tend to be cheaper and easier to negotiate due to less demand. I was helping a friend try to find one (they decided to get something else) but prices considerably lower than here in Los Angeles. A flight and drive back is not as bad. I did that when I bought mine new and got if for $1k under MRSP when local dealers where asking 10-15K over.

 

Took a while, but found a replacement! Less miles and it matches our Sequoia!!

Congrats! ...not a Lunar Rock, but at least you got the next best thing! How many miles? What was the damage?

 

That is nice! Got lucky some people I don’t get why sell off the V8 and they shouldn’t.

These new ones I have had 3 already and they are all junk. Each one has had issues. TRD pro was rattling at idle, limited window shake and my new platinum has sunroof creaking which I stuffed insulation into the liner to stop that but still dealing with the awful driver mirror wind noise.

I was dumb and sold off my
2021 lunar rock pro like a moron as well. I 100000% regret it each day.
