I'm glad you posted that, I was just about to search your replies to find it.

But @JakeJake you have a lof of metalworking shit. Any reason you couldn't fab some spacers? I mean, time is money so I'd probably still use that place Assassin posted, but ...

Alloy is for suckers, go steel.

Yeah, I considered making them. I really need to get my Bridgeport milling machine put back together.

The Stahl steel spacers are calling my name, but at $110 a piece it has me thinking about just liquidating my 3x sets of wheels and picking up some aftermarket wheels that have the ideal fitment.

I think my short term solution is going to be clean up the spacers I have and use them for mockup on the flatbed build. Realistically between my real job and getting the camper/flatbed build dialed in I'm looking at next spring before the truck sees any real mileage.

Small truck beds are crazy to me, too, but I would still rather have that than a car or a modern huge truck. At least you can get a washing machine or large furniture in the back. And if you get creative with a ladder rack you can haul plywood/ladders/lumber. And if you’re like me and have spent any time in a very densely populated area with small streets, a small truck is as good as you can get. The things third-world people are able to do with a Ranger or Volkswagen truck is incredible. :)

But here in the States anyway, our trucks are perfect.

what makes this funnier is there's another contracted driver here with a ford ranger. Who claims she can't move pallets or engines since her truck is small. I then sent her and all the managers the payload capacities of ford rangers and pics of "foreign nations" overloading and beating the fuck out of their rangers.

we'll see in about a month or 2 if she is forced to move a pallet or engine LOL

I guess I've always been lucky. Sounds like a lot of trash forums out there. I enjoyed my time at rangerpowersports, customtacos, tacomaworld, and here.

We have a few wingstops and BWWs. Other than that it's hit or miss on wings. I could take em or leave em. I did almost beat the BWW hot wing challenge. If I wasn't dehydrated as fuck I woulda beat it.

I feel lucky then. Never been "a part" of any forum/community before. One I checked in most every day just to see what everyone was doing, or where I got solid info and help, or where I shared Anything I was doing, or tried to help....
Probably even luckier that I landed in the FGT zone. I'll second that thank you to everyone :fistbump:

The double cab Tacoma has always had a short bed. At least they started offering a "long bed" with the 2nd gen :notsure:
