    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
I love the look of that wheel, but after having my ass saved by an airbag... it would be hard for me to delete mine

In all reality though, what are the odds it would actually deploy?
Never heard any chatter here about failures but it's 24yrs old!

Dont hit things while braking. Hammer the skinny pedal, and go through or over whatever you were gonna hit.

The 2000 wheel is different than all the other years and it's moon mist on top of that. Don't go thinking the wheel off of a camry of similar year will fit your current airbag. I can tell you 1st hand that it won't. Have to find one with airbag and all.

Hell if you could get a new moon mist wheel for $314 that probably isn't too bad a deal anyway.

Got my scan gauge mount made and installed. Also got the winch close to being installed, just needs to be wired up and bolted down and then add my bumper back on. Oh and spool up the synthetic line too

I didn't get those seats dirty. I had that truck one year. It was used when Dad bought it for my sister in 01. He taught me how to drive in it when was 14-15. (The Toyota kolaid had been consumed). Then my sister gave it back to Dad when she bought a Volvo. That's when I sold my Ranger and bought the Taco from Dad for pennies on the dollar.

Been avoiding this, but finally got it to compress enough on one side to make contact. I’m thinking I’m going to cut the flares right at the leading edge, then cut the bed up to the clips underneath, and gut that outer layer of the wheel well. I still have about 2” of up travel after it makes contact with the flare lol

$250 for 4runner wheels and used all season tires. Can't complain. Pulled out the plastic bedliner and found a spare key. Thanks P.O.!
Yanked the front axles too, before it got dark. Busted my lip popping the first one out of the diff because i was laying too close LOL :itllbuffout:Tomorrow I'll disconnect the front drive shaft and remove the differential.

Installed the cheap Amazon hitch lights on my ladder rack. Rigged them up so they can swivel 360* with half turn of wrench. I like the light quality, we will see how the wiring holds up. Def nice for working at night.

I actually pulled in s parking garage to inspect all connections/shrink tubing, it withstood a pretty good storm, the waterproof connectors work, but, are cheap and you have to assemble as desired fist time. I mounted the round red switch next to locker switches i like the contrast of blue/red down and out of the way. With everything on im still only seeing 13.7 , think im done w electronics.
