Has anyone replace the OEM Throttle Body with a Performance Aftermarket (Jet?) One?
Any real difference or just a waste?

Are you talking about this one?:

I've not heard anything good about the Jet products especially their MAF.

Nothing special about the TB aside from a built in throttle body spacers which haven't been proven to have conclusive benefits on a PI engine. The spacers are a hold over from the carburetor era.

On supercharged Tundras folks use the RCF throttle body (84mm) with an adapter, for the price you are better off getting a different performance upgrade like headers.

Found more info on the Jet chip site:

    https://jetchip.com/shop/throttle-bodies-spacers/throttle-body/76147-jet-powr-flo-throttle-body/

So basically it's bored out to 82.55mm and basically has the typical TB spacer "air accelerators" built in. Going from 76mm to 84mm shows some gains on a supercharged with a larger intake; probably marginal gains on a NA set up as the only mod.

The site also makes it sound like they've remapped the throttle response, probably will preform similar to what a pedal commander or some other similar device without having to intercept the pedal signal. This aspect of this device won't add HP.
