so, I have an insider in AL that lives about 15 min from the Gulf Coast and I'm told there haven't been any major storms or flooding in the last 2 years.
that makes me feel a little better about their 2 yr old "new" trailer inventory.

My 14 Tundra came down from North Dakota and had this thin layer of red dirt underneath. No rust at all. Red dirt roads up in the shale fields.

 

Truck looks great. Of all the undersides and frames to worry about, this doesn't look like one of them to me.

 

looks great as far as rust goes.
the bed looks like they used the shit out of it.
not sure what the pitting on the upper control arms is. maybe they use sand instead of salt on the roads? Maybe it gets kicked up by the tires and its basically a slow speed sand blasting job?
better than rust though. just rough it up and spray it black.
what's the interior look like?

 

The Bilstein shock is the giveaway. Caked with dirt. Not rust. What I'm seeing underneath can be easily removed.

I'm always late getting good shots of these guys that flight train up in the mountains. We always get a good fly over right above our house pretty low. I always think it's a c-130 but I actually have no clue.
