So, Hewitt's website seems to be down. (I was just looking at it on Thursday!) Scan tool came yesterday and was able to confirm it is code P2442 on my '07 w/ 4.7. It's in limp mode, too. My question is: back in the day, people used to just unplug the sensors and clear the code, no? Can I simply do that until I can (hopefully) get the kit from Hewitt? Was going to try, but I have never found a picture of just what plugs they actually are - and I've looked - a lot! Thanks for any help!

I have never heard of unplugging the connector going to the switching valve getting you out of limp mode. If you need your truck running in the meantime you could get a cheap aftermarket switching valve. The easiest method is to keep the base of the old valve on the engine valve cover and replace the top section which gives you access to the Reed valve. To take off the top section you need a T25 driver

Thanks - I'll try that if I can't get their kit very fast!

Maybe my Android phone doesn't like it - I was on my work computer the other day. I'll try at work tomorrow. Thank you!
