Has anyone drilled their bedside? I know early composite bed Tacoma's had problems with cracking beds but what about the new gen Tundra?
I need to install 2 air compressors and planned on putting them in the wheel wells mounted to the composite bed. Doing it this way would require drilling 4 mounting points per compressor.

This is the location where I plan on putting them on each side, the mounting bracket will be pushed up about 2-3 inches higher than the stock support bracket it is resting on. I'll be using rubber pads between the bed and mounting bracket to lessen the vibration of the running compressors.
