what you need is a pin pusher, a tool to push one or two tabs on pin in to release pin. tool is used on opposite side without wire.I have got pin pushers at radio shack or a electronic wiring store. try contacting NSV to see whay style they use. than try Amazon its not hard to do.

@silber i assume you figured it out but it’s not posted in this thread. I completed the entire install with no problems until I tried to do one of the simplest tasks; plug a pin into a connector. Like a complete bone head, I plugged Pin #9 into the hole for Pin #6! I have de pinning tools but can’t figure out how to release the pin style from the 12 pin connector. Can you (or anyone) HELP? Thanks!

Good luck with depinning, all I can chime in with is it’s difficult when it’s cold. I struggled and eventually called in a second set of hands to make it happen for the gray wire mod. Looks so easy on YouTube

    Tastefully enhanced...
Just so everyone knows, when owning a gen 2 bar that was re-wired to defeat the strobe...the greatest discovery was made...I was swapping out my bulge for one that did have broken tabs...I added some more strength with JB Weld on the tabs that are known to break when anything breaks on the bulge...I figured I might as well try the pin #8 to empty pin #3...definitely a tricky depinning but, the video works for this; I now have the strobe feature in-lieu of the boring "DRL" look ...I feel like drinking now!! Cheers!!
