I know the 3rd gens are supposed to get better gas mileage but wasn’t expecting to see this much of an improvement. I guess the hybrid system is not just for power.

    TRD Lift, TRD skid.
Sick! Tires must be at 50 psi at least.

Something is wrong with mine. Taking it to dealer and file a complaint. Mine is not getting 99 miles to gallon. I might average a little over 1/5th of that on a whole tank.

Obviously because you have start/stop disabled. Turn it on and get the 99.9 the rest of us are getting!

I opened this thread fully expecting to read, "I lifted and put big tires on my truck. Why has my mileage gone to shit?"
    I was pleasantly surprised.

You know I thought about doing something like that haha. Maybe putting being surprised by the mileage going up. I do have 34” toyo AT3s in a C load rating. So the wheel and tire combo is a little heavier than stock. But not everyday it reads 99.9. I’m usually around 16-17 with the new tires.

You can do it to! It will be for a very brief moment, I’ll give you my secret. Reset the fuel economy gauge while going down hill and the truck in hybrid mode. It first showed like 45 MPG, then shot up to like 90 MPG, then when it maxed out to 99.9 I had to get a picture cause I knew no one would believe it! Don’t tell anyone though, would hate for people to think the hybrid was for power only and not fuel economy…
