I just purchased a 2024 Toyota tundra SR5 SX and I was really disappointed that for almost 60 K. It doesn’t have Home link or power rearview mirror. My question is I have the rearview mirror from my 2018 tundra SR5 that has everything built-in with the exception of the camera. Am I able to plug that in to my new 2024 will it plug straight in? Do I need an adapter or will it not even work at all, I’ve been searching for two days and I can’t seem to find any information on a factory to factory replacement. Everything I found is aftermarket replacement and so on any help would be great thank you very much in advance.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I hope someone is able to help. I thought all 22 and newer Tundras had the Home Link.

No in fact from what I understand only the platinum unless special ordered on a build sheet.
I know the older ones like my 18 were wired even if they didn’t have them installed. It made it easy if you get the mirror just pull the plug down from the headliner and you’re good. Well I pulled the roof console down and there are 3 different plugs up there not being used however they are not the same connection. I can’t find anywhere if there is an adaptor to convert it or a wire diagram for them and I can’t find anything and no one seems to know.
Thanks for the welcome guys. This is my fifth Tundra 02, 06, 12, 18 and now a 24. I can’t see owning anything else. At least in a truck. lol
