I bought a new Leer 100R cap with the new RXF Textured Black Finish that Leer now offers for my 2016 CM.

This is the 2nd new Leer 100R cap that I have owned for this 2016 CM. I purchased my truck new in September 2015 so it is almost 9 years old (99,300 miles now). The first one was painted the same color as the truck. I sold it a few years after I bought it to try out a Leer folding tonneau cover which I have had on the truck a few years.

I want to do more camping so I bought this new one. I got the same options (carpet liner and sliding front glass) on this new cap as the first one that I had. I chose this finish for the more "overland" - "old school Bronco/Jeep" look and hopefully more durable finish. By the way, the finish is no extra charge by Leer.

I need some tire dressing on the tires. LOL I also just noticed that the picture for my screen name has my old cap.

Love my leer cap. I initially was going to go for the dual handles for the rear window as well since its less moving parts but I wanted to be able to lock it with the fob. I installed the locking tailgate kit and then tapped the same wires for the optional leer pop and lock kit and now everything locks with the fob, super convenient.
