    Hi all!

Excited to stumble across this page! I am looking to start doing some mods to my 2023 tundra and want to start with the muffler first. Needing it to sound like an actual truck :)

Is there a certain size I should get?

    Welcome to the forum! :)

Are you wanting to replace the catback exhaust system, or JUST the muffler?

    Thank you!

Considering I don't know what a cutback exhaust system is (lol..), I will want to do anything that will make it sound the best.

Ah no worries, I love a good teaching moment! The easiest way to change out the exhaust sound is going to be replacing the full "catback", which is the portion from the catalytic converter (cat) to the back. Replacing the system right after the catalytic converter makes sure that it does not mess with your emissions system, does not require tuning, and remains legal in all 50 states.

Many companies make a good catback system, including us (STILLEN) except ours does not fit the long bed crew cab, which you have.

amazing thank you!! I have a lot (everything) to learn so this was super helpful.

It may look that way, but she's a quad cab with a standard bed. I wish it was a crew cab with a long bed ;) hah!

Sweet! thanks! Does it require welding? I've been watching videos trying to get an idea, and they all seem to do some sort of welding...

No not at all. A catback exhaust system from any brand will be a bolt-on installation using clamps. If you were trying to replace only the muffler, that might involve cutting and welding
