When I do a keyword search on here for help on this issue, it's hard to find what I'm looking for because all the posts seem to be "non-JBL".

The JBL system seems to be pretty good for what it is - so I purchased a touch screen head unit from eBay (Chinese manufacturer), that had all the harnesses, CAN Bus setup and dash fit for less than $200. Sounded good, but was plagued with touch-screen lag, endless bluetooth connection problems and steering wheel controls that never worked.

So, yanking it in favor of a brand name. Don't need anything crazy - just ability to connect my backup camera and have hands-free android. Does anyone here know which harness to purchase to maintain the JBL amp, speakers and maintain steering wheel controls?

You probably should talk with someone at Crutchfield to verify, but I have a 2012 crewmax platinum with JBL, Nav, steering wheel controls. I just placed an order with Crutchfield for a iDatalink HRN-HRR-TO1 (harness connectors), and the iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module. Pretty easy to go on the website, enter your vehicle information and verify application. Or call them and they'll do it. Around $250 for the 2 items.

I wanted a name brand but did not want to spend a fortune ended up w this Chinese seicane model 2 months in no prob... Even the steering wheel buttons work. Reviews were not great but am pleasantly surprised... Have a backup cam now, 2 USB android car play ports, can also do over the air car play bluetooth... Hope it lasts...was plug and play except for camera and steering wheel controller module. Again given not great reviews am pleasantly surprised.
