2006 tundra v6

my question is, my 2006 toyota tundra v6 4.0l died on me going to work had to have it towed home. 3 weeks later still wont start just clicks. radio,lights and dash boared cluster all comes on but when i try turn it over it just click click clicks.. mechanic said engine seezed up but i have a hard time beleiving it. any info will help.
