    I’m on the fence about a potential deal. I have been offered $30k for my 2020 SR5 2WD with 60k miles. I just found a potential replacement in a 2016 1794 CM 4X4 with 80k miles decent shape. I’ll
Lose CarPlay and TSS but upgrade in other departments. Good deal/swap?

also, 4x4 is local private sale.

Really depends how you use your truck and what you need. If it makes sense to you to make the trade, go for it.

I went for many years not having 4X4 and was fine, but now that I've had it I can't imagine ever buying another 2WD truck. Not that I actually USE IT all that much but man it sure is nice to have.

Mileage difference is a non-factor, 60K, 80K, neither is even broken in for a Toyota. The 1794 was well maintained?

You'd be stepping up in trim package, though I like my SR5 just fine.

Carplay is easily added with a cool new HU.

If you want / need 4WD, I’d do it. Add an aftermarket HU and you’re gtg.

Yes it does. I’m leaning towards the deal as this would be a good for mods over next several years, I was reluctant to do more mods on the 2020 as I thought 4x4 would be eventually what I wanted, boat ramps were also a slight concern with the 2WD. This will basically be a straight swap but I think older, less tech is outweighed by 4x4, higher trim.

I do like and appreciate all the comments/input, helps me straighten out some thoughts. Thanks

    It is... DMX1057XR

*Bonus* It screen mirrors perfectly with my Samsung S22+ so my "passengers" can have Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc. on road trips.

Not exactly "Plug and play"... you have to get the harness kit and then it sorta' is.

You also need the Maestro interface to retain your steering wheel controls.

I had a shop do the install, so it was more "Pay and play"

Yeah, it's a great way to pass a long drive. My old Tundra had a HU w/DVD player and we'd stop at Redbox for movies, but streaming is way better.
My understanding is that Samsung phones mirror great, some other phones can be hit or miss. I also had them put an HDMI In port where one of the 12V receptacles used to be.
