I wrapped the grey bit of the dash to match the outside/trd accents with daughter number one. We’ll see how it looks in daylight tomorrow. IMG_5266.jpg

I need details of how this went. Are you hybrid/jbl? Stereo is on my hit list but sub space lacking in hybrid. The children are going to have them in their footwells.

Looks good! Did you remove the pieces before wrapping them? If so, were they pretty easy to remove?

For me since they don’t come with the off-road package. It gets removed when installing the TRD Pro suspension it’s not needed on the SR5 4x4. If I loose 1 mpg no big deal. Plus you don’t have to deploy it when doing an oil change.

Really easy. The drivers side just pop off with a pry tool, the long passenger one comes away with the vent by the window so ease them out together.

Is this Lunar Rock? I ask bc in the pic it looks like the gray that Toyota put on Tacomas and 4Runners for a while and I really loved that shade. Don’t understand they didn’t make it available on the Tundra. Or even that blue shade that is in the same palette as lunar.

Yes it is LR. The low light happens to make it look like cement. Would’ve been my first pick if they did offer it too.

Had some fun today and installed the nightshade grill. Talk about a pain in the ass…. Not sure how I feel about the silver mustache yet. It gives some contrast. If I end up not liking it I’ll add the painted covers to it. I’m not taking apart the front end again though.

Did fluid change on both diffs and transfer case.

M1 75w-90 in the diffs and Toyota ATF WS in the transfer case.

The rear diff seemed to take more than expected and the front took less to refill than expected, but all 3 filled up to fill hole.
At 34k miles, transfer case and front diff oils were still pretty new looking/smelling.
Rear was darker with slight smell, some typical collections on the drain plug. No large chucks or shavings.

Gotta make a long trip towing a motorcycle, hopefully all remains well.

It is basically waterproof. In torrential Florida rain I've only seen a couple drops of water inside the tailgate. I also went through a car wash a couple times and again, I saw only a few drops inside the tailgate. If you follow the link to Weathertech's site it says it has vinyl-coated hinges, which I have found to hold up will in the FL sun and also keep water out. This is a great tonneau, I would buy it again tomorrow. If you compare it to a similarly priced backflip (the tri-fold, not the roll up) the Weathertech is a superior product.

Took delivery of my TRD PRO a week ago today…still trying to figure out how to post photos from my iPhone/iPad. Otherwise, it’s an awesome truck…very pleased so far. Still waiting for my WeatherTech window wind defectors to arrive. Hood rock and bug guard goes on today, mats already installed. The leap in technology over my 2019 4Runner Limited is astounding. But thanks to my tech savvy sales guy, and my willingness to actually read the manuals, I’ve got everything set up and running. I plan to initially change the oil and filter at 500 and 1000 miles, but not have it charged to Toyota Care. Every 5000 miles/6 months thereafter, I’ll have it changed again. Will end up paying for those out of pocket, but will utilize my free Toyota Care for changes at 10K/1 year intervals.

And I forgot to mention…the truck actually fits inside my garage with about a foot to spare. So should be no issues with the Cdi Covert Bumper and winch I plan to have installed along with the NYTOP rear recovery points.
