Howdy, so I just bought my new to me 2020 Platinum a few weeks ago and I thought I would find a forum to get some ideas for mods and preventative maintenance/repairs. I'm from the great white north, just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. Heres a picture of her with her new 18" chineseum TRD knockoffs and BF Goodrich KO2s, came with some questionable no name winter tires on the stock, 20" rims, will be getting some studded Nokian winters for those.smaller5.jpg

Mods? First on my list for you is the TRD solid rear anti-sway bar.

Excuse my ignorance, but why?? Does it do something, its a truck, I expect it to handle like a drugged hippo

The TRD rear sway bar makes it handle like an athletic hippo as opposed to a drugged hippo. In all seriousness, it is a great upgrade especially if you haul, tow, or dislike body roll. I've run one for years and love it.

Welcome from Colorado. If it's mods you want you'll find nothing short of endless options here. Truck was only the down payment for accessories. :spending:

I'd start with window tint, but that's just my personal pet peeve on a vehicle. You'll fit in great around here with this attitude.

Welcome from OKC! Skip the sway bar and look into Roadmaster active suspension HD kit. Much better investment.

I'm totally with ya, problem is the local constabulary around here has quite the hard on for tint, like you could have a stack of Bolivian marching powder in the box or a cut up body, no problem, limo tint, "GET OUT OF THE CAR, HANDS UP!!!!".
