I installed the cornfed 1”. Easy install. On the 2nd side I didn’t even unbolt the lower strut as I could swing the whole assembly down far enough to pop the spacer in the top.

 

Here’s my ‘24 Limited Nightshade Blueprint purchased 12/04/2023, 12 miles on ODO
Added BAK MX4 tonneau and window tint. More to come…

Nobody got this colour with raised white letters tire? I should get my SR5 blueprint and I just realized the copper at3 xlt I ordered were with the white letters, really temted to have them white IN unless someone shows me something good...

 

Pulled into Lowes Saturday, next to a Blueprint SR5 crewmax SB TRD OR 2022 lol - got to talking to the guy, he got it used, with 15k miles on it, now has 22k on it he said. At first, he thought mine was black, as the morning sun was behind me so in the darker shade, it looks black. I don't think he is on this forum based on his responses. He asked me about the Toyota tonneau, and if it was the recalled one. I told him, it was, and I've been almost 15k miles with it, on at least 3 trips > 1,000 miles and high speeds and major bumps in the roads, with no issues.

Yay, I received my 1794 LE Blueprint today: #46/1500!

I'm going to get Xpel paint protection film-- should I do matte or glossy? It looks great now, slightly apprehensive about matte bc it might just make it look dirty or unfinished. I love matte in gray / silver, not sure about the blueprint.... However, matte blueprint would look custom and be distinctive....

I had my platinum fully color matched before delivery, flares, stash, rear spoiler among other mods.

Get comments on the blueprint color all the time. It's a tough color to keep, only a notch better than black. One thing I've noticed is that when I got the truck last June the clear coat was soft as taffy. Scratched easily. It's cured well and is now much less susceptible to swirls and fine marks.

 

I dont find it that hard to keep clean, I did get ceramic coat though, maybe that helps

O, and 0 TDS spot free rinse is your friend

 

Picked up my limited Saturday. Really wish the OEM replacements for the chrome door handles weren't $500+. Other than that little bit of chrome it's just about perfect.

I saw those, but the description says they have reports the touch sensors don't work as well after install.

 

Yes xpel stealth would look so good, I want to do it but bills…..

 

It seems to be non-issue/anecdotal issue. We've only had 3 complaints out of the 40+ we have sold. When I wrote that description, it was closer to only about 15 we had sold, some of which hadn't been delivered yet. We've been keeping a close eye and an ear to the ground for issues, since WE DO NOT MAKE THESE and just paint them. We would happily pull them offline if it was a larger issue.

However, we can confirm that the manual key (the one you pull out of the fob) will not fit in the hole if, truck-gods forbid, you have to use it.

Good to hear. I may give them a shot if that’s the case. I do appreciate the upfront description even if it was a small issue for some.

 

We also include a set of instructions to do a dry-fit before you fully install them not only to make sure your color looks good, but to check that the tech functionality of the handle is still good. Leaving the red backing on affords us so many options to help.

Not matte is my preference. The blueprint is a very nice color.

 

no rub with this setup, i did have to remove the mudflaps though.
