Bought my new to me used Tundra back in December, after years of owning Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. The last Jeep had so many issues that I am done with Chrysler.

So I pulled the trigger on a used 2019 Tundra TRD off road, that had 48K miles...
First actual pickup I have ever owned.

Actually was owned in Saskatchewan, owner must have moved to Fargo, before trading it in St. Paul, MN, where I bought it.
Glad I got one of the last V8's as there now is a major issue with the new 6 cylinder turbo.

Previous owner never towed. There wasn't a scratch in the hitch.
One annoying thing, was first time towing the camper, I had a warning every single mile for Trailer Disconnected warning. Lights worked fine. It is an issue in the Integrated Brake Controller. Found a Toyota Service bulletin that stated there was an error in the code that needed an update for 2018-2019 models. Toyota only covers it to 30,000 miles. Even with the extended warranty, I was forced to pay $230 for an update that did fix the problem.
I was a little annoyed by that.

The service bulletin came from the NHTSA website, but Toyota corporation doesn't consider it a safety issue.
How is losing trailer brakes pulling 5,000 lbs not considered a safety issue?
This was a factory software error!

    Regardless, the truck is awesome.

Best to avoid new models the first couple years.
Learned that the hard way with that Jeep.
I do love my newer Tundra. We already had a Corolla that is reliable. I hope to have this truck a long time.
