Howdy. I have a 2020 Tundra SR5 crewmax 2WD with 70,300 miles. I use it primarily for towing.

I Had the tires replaced in april and its felt all over the place on the road with a shaking steering wheel since. I had the truck aligned and tires rebalanced today at tge just tires store where I got the wheels. The steering wheel still shakes around 65-70mph and pulls to the right.

I brought it back and they said the right upper control joint needs replacement (something they forgot to mention earlier). They want $554 to replace it with OEM equivalent. I left and didn't bother having them redo the tire balancing or alignment again.

Is it really something I need replaced? I read on here its normal to leak grease from this part. Can't find any OEM replacement parts either.

On another note I noticed a "grinding sensation" at low speeds when pressing the gas pedal. Anyone else have this?

Aftermarket upper control arm or snap ring pliers and replacement ball joint. Will need alignment after repair.

Just noticed some oil seepage from the filter as well. It has both gaskets in and js properly torqued. Oil level is still at full. Anyone else have this?

Uca is fine. It’s designed to weep. Every single one does it.

Filter housing could have a crack.

    Alot of them
The OEM balljoint is not available separately. It comes with the UCA. To see if the ballpoint is bad, jack the truck up move the top of the tire in and out and see if there is any play in the stud.
