Trailer assist calibration

After setting up trailer with trailer assist, all the back up features work properly. When turning the assist off then back on. My trailer isn’t detected. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known issue. It seems like it’s not saving my trailer info. To get it to work again I have to recalibrate the trailer.

I have the exact same issue. Wondering if you ever found a fix? At the moment its in a product specialist's hands at corporate to try and figure out (Toyota Motor Sales of North America).
