The kit will include the mounting hardware and template. Switch blanks are sold separately. You will need to permanently modify your center console area to install this.

Apologies for the gnarly looking center console - this is my old one used for prototyping and it's pretty cut up at this point...

 

6-Switch Front Tray Install Instructions

1. Cut out and secure the included paper template to the console tray using masking or heavy scotch tape. The top edge needs to be against the front edge where the tray angles up, and the left edge against the left edge of the tray.


2. Using an awl or center punch, mark the center of the four circles. Also use a marker or similar to mark the outline of the cut out area. (image is an example from the MagSafe tray)


3. Carefully drill the holes to 5/32" and then cut out the marked area using whatever means you prefer (dremel, oscillating tool, utility knife, etc.). Don't butcher the holes like the top-left one shown below in step 4.

4. Install the tray and then attach in place using the provided #6-32 screws and washers. Note that the washers go at the front (based on how the truck points) end of the tray where it is thinner. Be careful not to over-tighten.


5. Reinstall your console piece into the truck.

Gotcha. I was just curious because of the shade of blue...I thought it looked a litter darker than the AOB switches.

 

Cruiserheads (CH4x4) has only the darker blue color. AOB has a light and a dark blue option, with the light being really close to the light blue on the factory switches while the dark blue is close to the CH4x4.
CH4x4 offers custom switches (graphics and text), and also has an option for a two-part switch (two buttons in a single blank) - both momentary and latching.

 

I have a couple AOB light blue switches in my truck. I have one CH4x4 switch and it actually shorted out.

 

+1 on an awesome product from @RainMan_PNW. I'll take better pics once my switches arrive and I get them installed. I was able to move my SG3 over and still be happy with it's placement. It sits high enough that I can easily reach all 6 switch positions.

 

I was able to get my chase lights moved over, ran wiring for the fridge to the bed, and installed a badass nanny killer - half way done filling it up!

Locker, rock lights and a couple LP6s planned for the rest.

 

Moved the chase light switch over to fill it up.

 

I ordered switches today. I will have 2 grille led switches, bumper light bar, interior lights (for footwell lighting), and USB power to control the Rago USB port (if I want to turn off the blue ring). I may move the mic over to the last spot.

 

Stuck the switches in until I get around to wiring them.
